Promising Start For Senior Thirds Under Friday Night Lights

Our Senior Thirds Men kicked off their 2025 campaign under Friday night lights with a strong performance against Merrifield Football Club — marking the first time the full squad has taken the field together this year.

It was fantastic to see the boys out there as one unit, bringing energy, effort, and promising early chemistry. There were plenty of positives to take away from the match, and with a solid foundation now laid, this group is only going to grow stronger as the season unfolds.

A massive shoutout to Head Coach Matty Walker for his outstanding work assembling this squad and getting the team game-ready. His leadership has set the tone for what’s shaping up to be an exciting season.

We also want to acknowledge our Senior Women, who came down to support and lend a hand on the night — a great reflection of the unity and spirit across our club.

The boys will return to action this Friday night at The Cage for their first home game of the year — set to launch a big weekend of Westmeadows footy. Don’t miss it!
