WHERE FOOTY BEGINS

NAB AFL Auskick is a fun introduction to Australian Football where kids learn the basics of the game while developing confidence, teamwork and important life skills.

Through game based activities that kids love, learning happens naturally while they play. No previous Aussie Rules experience is needed and children can start Auskick in the calendar year they turn five.

Auskick is also a great way for families to get involved, with plenty of opportunities for parents to join in and be part of the experience.

SOME CALL IT CHAOS.

WE CALL IT GOOD CLEAN FUN

NAB AFL Auskick is all about fun, game based activities that help kids stay active while learning the basics of Australian Football. Sessions are designed to build confidence, teamwork and fundamental footy skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Auskickers are grouped by age, with optional all girls groups available, and sessions run for just one hour each week. There is no need for expensive equipment, kids can simply wear comfortable clothes and runners.

Along the way, Auskickers make new friends, enjoy family involvement and receive a pack of exclusive footy goodies, an Auskick Junior Membership with the AFL club of their choice, and even the chance to play at half time at AFL and AFLW matches.

GOOD CLEAN FUN

PLAY AFL

FUN FIRST

Our sessions are built around fun, game based activities that keep kids active, engaged and enjoying every minute. Through play, children naturally learn the fundamental skills of Australian Football while building confidence and a love for the game.

INCLUSIVE AND WELCOMING

Auskick at Westmeadows is for everyone. We welcome kids of all abilities and experience levels, creating an environment where they can make new friends, learn teamwork and feel part of something special within our club community.

SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE

Our program is run by passionate coaches and volunteers who are committed to creating a safe, positive environment for every child. Sessions are structured to support learning at each child’s pace while ensuring parents feel comfortable and confident about their child’s experience.

PART OF THE WESTMEADOWS COMMUNITY

When kids join Auskick at Westmeadows, they become part of a club that has been at the heart of the community for generations. It is often the first step in a lifelong connection with football, friendships and the wider Westmeadows Football Club family.

GET INVOLVED, BECOME A VOLUNTEER

Auskick is not just for kids. Parents, guardians and family members play an important role in helping create a fun and welcoming environment for everyone involved.

Westmeadows is always looking for volunteers to support our Auskick program. Whether it is assisting with activities, helping run sessions or simply lending a hand on the day, every bit of support helps make the experience even better for the kids. No football experience is required. Just a willingness to get involved and be part of the Westmeadows community. Volunteering is also a great way to meet other families and share the Auskick experience with your child.

If you would like to get involved, please contact our Auskick Coordinator.
