At the Westmeadows Football Club, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive and respectful environment for all players, families, coaches, volunteers and supporters.
Our Codes of Conduct outline the standards and behaviours expected from players, parents, guardians and spectators representing the yellow and black, both on and off the field. For any questions regarding club policies, please contact our Club President.

PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT
BUILDING A SAFE, RESPECTFUL AND INCLUSIVE CLUB CULTURE
1. Always play by the laws and rules. Be a team player and a good sport.
2. Control your temper and treat others as you would like to be treated. Bullying will not be tolerated.
3. Verbal abuse to umpires, officials, parents or other players is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.
4. Never argue with an umpire or official. If you disagree, discuss the matter with your coach.
5. Cooperate, support and encourage your teammates.
6. Acknowledge opponents, officials and umpires before and after the game.
7. Play fair and respect the rights and dignity of all players regardless of gender, ability,cultural background or religion.
8. No Mouthguard, No Play.
9. Play for the fun of it and remember it’s just a game.
PARENT, GUARDIAN AND SPECTATOR CODE OF CONDUCT
WORKING TOGETHER TO CREATE A SAFE, POSITIVE AND RESPECTFUL FOOTY ENVIRONMENT

Volunteer for match day roles as required and communicated by team coaches.

Remember children play football for enjoyment, not for adult entertainment.

Encourage participation and effort rather than winning.

Never ridicule or yell at a child for making mistakes or losing.

Applaud good play by both teams and lead by example.

Respect umpire and official decisions at all times.

Raise concerns privately and through appropriate club channels.

Demonstrate appropriate behaviour and language at all times.

Avoid and don’t engage in violence, harassment and abuse in any form.

Respect the rights and dignity of all participants.

Do not leave children unattended at training sessions.

Understand there is a zero tolerance approach to abuse of umpires, players, coaches or spectators. Breaches may result in disciplinary action.
