Members of our senior men’s program Anthony, Alex, Gabe and Julian Guida will have plenty to cheer for this August, with their dad Matt set to take part in the 2026 Variety Bash.
The Variety Bash is a 10 day, 5,274km journey from Halls Gap to Exmouth, raising important funds to support kids who are sick, disadvantaged or living with additional needs.

Throughout the trip, Matt and the team will visit schools and remote communities, meeting local families and helping deliver equipment and support to children who need it most.
Funds raised help provide vital equipment, inclusive spaces, education support and opportunities that make a real difference in the lives of kids and their families.

Funds raised through the Bash help to:
• Provide vital equipment such as wheelchairs and communication aids
• Build inclusive playgrounds where every child can be involved
• Support education through programs and scholarships
On behalf of Matt and the Guida family, we thank everyone for their support and generosity.
If you would like to support Matt and the team, donations can be made HERE.
We are also hoping to have the Variety Bash car down at our East Sunbury home game on Saturday 23 May, so keep an eye out around The Cage.
