WEEKEND WRAP | SENIOR WOMEN

Our Senior Women made it five straight with a strong 51 point win over Coburg Districts at The Cage on Saturday.
Coburg came ready to play and had the game on their terms early, with only a point separating the sides at quarter time. The girls were able to absorb the pressure and respond in the second quarter, piling on four goals to start taking control of the game.
After the main break, the girls got going and played some really solid footy to run out convincing winners.
Sarah Wright was dominant around the ground and finished with three goals, while Madison Shaw-Barton and Liana Keenan were both important contributors all day. Taylor Jones and Ruby Smith continued their strong form through the middle and helped set the tone around the contest.
It was also great to welcome back Miranda Bulman, who slotted straight back in and looked right at home.
The girls now head to Gisborne this weekend for another big challenge.
