Our Division One Women recorded a convincing Round 8 victory over Taylors Lakes, with 11 individual goal kickers highlighting a complete team performance.
Across the ground, Sarah Wright, Gemma Wright, Courtney Bligh and Ruby Smith were outstanding through the midfield. Week after week they continue to lead the way, winning contested ball, driving the team forward and setting the standard with their work rate and toughness around the contest. Miranda Bulman, Ella Guest and Taylor Jones also played important roles through the midfield rotations, coming in and providing fresh legs while maintaining the same intensity and standard around the ball.
Down back, Makenzie Best and Jacinta Scott were influential, providing plenty of run and carry from half back while consistently rebounding the ball and helping launch attacking chains.
Up forward, Courteney Munn was dominant in her 100th game, finishing with a remarkable nine-goal haul. Our Division One Women's leading goal kicker was a constant threat inside 50 and capped off her milestone match in style.
With strong performances across every line and contributions from the entire squad, it was another impressive team display from the ladder leaders.
