EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - SPORTS TRAINERS
Westmeadows Football Club is seeking expressions of interest for Sports Trainers ahead of the 2026 football season. With teams across Senior Men, Reserves, Senior Women and Under 18's, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a competitive football environment, particularly for those studying physiotherapy, osteopathy or other sport and health-related fields.
THE ROLE
Sports Trainers play a key role in supporting player performance, preparation and wellbeing across both training and game day.
Key responsibilities include:
Injury prevention and injury management
Sports strapping
Basic sports massage
First aid duties
Assisting with hydration and player preparation
Availability:
Game Day – Saturday
Training Nights – May be required for one night per week (Tuesday or Thursday)

WHO SHOULD APPLY
We are looking for reliable, team-first individuals who are passionate about sport and want to play an important role in a football program.
Qualified Sports Trainers
Students studying physiotherapy, osteopathy or related fields
Those looking to gain practical experience in sport
Applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain:
First Aid and CPR certification
Sports Trainer accreditation (Level 1 or 2)
