A strong weekend for the yellow and black, with our Senior Men and Reserves both returning to the winners list with solid wins over East Sunbury at Willowbrook Reserve.
Our Under 18.5’s battled hard but went down to Burnside Heights on Saturday morning.
The Thirds also produced a dominant performance, running out 99 point winners. Coach Matty Walker was full of praise for the group’s defensive effort, keeping the opposition scoreless for a half and to just one goal for the game.
"Clayton Campbell starred with an outstanding performance, finishing with around 40 disposals and four goals, while Khalil and Adam Boukhalil, Ahmed Taleb, Sam Nanfaro and Billy Kosteas were also among the best contributors.
A special mention to Zack El Sayegh, who celebrated his 100th game for the club and marked the occasion with a couple of goals. A great achievement for a much loved member of the yellow and black."
