A dominant performance from our Senior Women on Saturday, with a 75 point win over Gisborne seeing the girls improve to 6-0 for the season.
Stef Maiorana was dangerous in front of goal finishing with four majors, while Danielle Linton and Courteney Munn continued their strong form with three each. Shannon O’Toole also continued her improvement week by week, providing plenty of effort and important 1%ers around the contest.
Sarah and Gemma Wright were everywhere across the ground, providing plenty of run and drive, while Ruby Smith gave the midfield first use early with a strong start in the ruck that helped set up multiple first half goals. With injuries forcing a few changes around the ground, Ella Guest and Taylor Jones were terrific additions through the midfield.
Jacinta Scott and Emma Baker also continued their strong form across half back, providing plenty of rebound and composure coming out of defence.
