Our Senior Women moved to 4-0 after taking care of Roxburgh Park at Lakeside Reserve on Saturday.
It was a real team win in tough conditions, with six different goal scorers hitting the scoreboard. Danielle Linton slotted four, while Sarah Wright was everywhere around the ground and finished with three goals of her own.
Jacinta Scott, Ruby Smith and Ella Guest were all influential in the win. As a coaching group, we’ve loved the way the girls are buying in and going to work for each other every week.
The best part has been the contribution from everyone.
The little 1%ers, pressure acts, second efforts and the girls doing the tough stuff for their teammates has become a real strength of this group.
We know we’re coming up against a quality Coburg Districts side this week and the girls are looking forward to the challenge.
